Hi, my name is Wim.

I’m an animator and producer located in Amsterdam. In the past years I’ve created a network of creators that I work with on projects of all shapes and sizes for clients around the world. I bring people together, so each project gets her ideal team.

In my work I aim for simplicity, with clear storytelling and design. You can count on me for anything animated, whether you’re looking for explainers, visual essays or a social media campaign. We are here to solve your next creative challenge with you.

So, what do you do?

I specialise in motion design. Together with my creative team, I can handle everything animated - from script to delivery. You can tap me on the shoulder for animated videos, illustrations, animations for apps, websites and social media - and of course, for GIFS (it is pronounced with a hard G, debate closed).

How much time does it take to make a video?

→

One of life's great questions, not so easily answered. However, in general it takes 6 to 7 weeks to produce a 60 second video, from script to delivery. Yes, it can be done quicker, and I have done so. But it is better not to - trust me on that. If you want everything to run smoothly, reach out a few months before you want to go live.

What is your process?

We like to start with a chat to see who you are, and how we can help you. Then, we would like you to fill in a briefing. We then introduce the team with a kick-off call.

After that we start the project: we develop a concept that shows how your video will sound, look and feel -and what the general angle for the story is. We then make a script, move on to a storyboard in combination with a few styleframes (finished illustrations). We record the voice-over and make the illustrations. Then we share an animatic with you - a video that roughly shows the timing and flow of the final product. If that all works out we start animating. The cherry on top is sounddesign.

What about feedback?

We love feedback! Well, most of the time. Jokes aside, we welcome feedback and have built in many touch points in our process. There are several 'points of no return.' For instance, we need a final approval on the animatic before we jump into animation- feedback after this stage tends to move animators to tears.

How much does it cost to work with you?

I work with companies of all shapes and sizes - which means that budgets vary. To reflect that, I do not have a fixed price. My quotes show the work that needs to be done, but also take into consideration how much feedback and project management is expected - I usually base this on the size of your company.

What type of breed is Bowie?

→

Ah, another one of life’s great questions. Bowie is originally from Aruba, and made his way to Amsterdam to find a home. Long story short; he a mutt, but part of a vaguely outlined breed: The Aruban Cunucu.
